The Giving Collection is a community-driven initiative by The Dress Collective that provides donated wedding gowns to brides facing extraordinary life circumstances, such as serious illness, medical or financial hardship, or other significant challenges. Our mission is simple: to ensure every bride has the opportunity to feel beautiful, celebrated, and supported on her wedding day.

Who We Serve

We welcome applications from brides experiencing significant hardships, including but not limited to:

  • Serious or terminal illness

  • Medical-related financial hardship

  • Military families

  • Survivors rebuilding after domestic violence

  • Unexpected financial hardship

  • Loss of a parent, partner, or caregiver

  • Other extraordinary life circumstances

Each application is reviewed individually with care and compassion.

After your wedding day, your gown can become part of someone else's beginning.

We accept wedding gowns in excellent condition that are ready to continue their journey. Every donated dress is thoughtfully matched with a bride through The Giving Collection.

Every Giving Collection bride receives:

  • Personalized styling

  • Veil and accessories when available

  • Celebration with family and loved ones

Through The Giving Collection, you can sponsor a brand-new, made-to-order wedding gown for a bride facing extraordinary life circumstances. In partnership with our exclusive London designer, Mara Marie Bridal, your gift provides a gown thoughtfully crafted just for her—creating an unforgettable bridal experience and ensuring she feels beautiful, celebrated, and seen on her wedding day.

A minimum donation of $1,000 helps fund a made-to-order gown, while a full sponsorship of $3,000 completely covers the cost of one custom Mara Marie Bridal gown for a Giving Collection bride.
