What "Off-the-Rack" Really Means
At a boutique like ours, "off-the-rack" doesn't mean mass-produced or generic. Within our Revival Edit, every gown is one-of-one — a curated designer sample, a once-worn piece, or an exceptional gown that's ready and waiting for its bride. The biggest advantage: for many of these gowns, you can say yes and take your dress home the same day, rather than waiting months for it to arrive.
It's the right fit if:
Your wedding is coming up faster than a traditional order timeline allows
You love the idea of a gown with a little bit of history
You want to see and feel the exact dress you're buying, in person, before you commit
What "Made-to-Order" Really Means
Made-to-order is a different experience entirely. With our exclusive designer, Mara Marie Bridal, your gown is handcrafted in her London atelier — brought to life by Mara herself, from fabrics sourced at world-renowned mills. During your appointment, you'll try on curated samples to discover the silhouette and details that feel like you, then your gown is made specifically to your measurements and vision. Necklines, sleeves, trains, and fabric can all be tailored to make the design your own.
The trade-off is time: most made-to-order gowns take 4–5 months from order to delivery, so we recommend booking your appointment at least 9 months before your wedding date (though rush options are available if timing is tight). Made-to-order gowns start at $3,000 for bridal styles and $1,500 for little white dress and occasion pieces.

You have the timeline to plan ahead
You want a gown designed around your specific vision, not just picked from what's available
You love the idea of owning something made exclusively for you — no one else will have worn it first
So Which One Is Right for You?
